Im looking for a good supplier for brake line and fuel line clamps. I just picked up new plumbing for the car and plan on mounting them this weekend. I dont know if NAPA sells them or not.

Also any tips? Or special type recommended?

    Thanks.

For my lines I used the steel clamps with the rubber insert - available in different sizes from NAPA.

Lowe's or Home Depot has the rubber lined metal ones mentioned above that work great. Your local hardware store probably has em too. You don't need anything fancy just something that will do the job. You local auto zone or advance has the brake lines.

The insulated clamps are called Adel clamps. Used in tons of applications. Nice for helping prevent rattles and chafing on lines too.
This is a link to some ss double clamps on Ebay 290573996763 they also have other sizes. I have bought several things from them and they are reliable to get it to you in short order.

  8. Yes, and our Ace has stainless Adel clamps, we are right on the water here and they have the SS ones for the boat guy's. Speedway has some nice clamps that are SS, and work well too, all sizes and come with ****onhead fastners, TR

I have lots of aluminum laying around (.063thk, 3003 H14) from doing hoods, and I am basically cheap, so I just cut it into strips 1/2 wide and about 2" long, punch a hole in one end to screw it down and roll the other end up over the tubing. Forms easily, you can polish it if you want and you can make all different sizes. Tap it with a plastic hammer to tighten them up. I'll try to post pics later.

If you want the cushioned aluminum Adel clamps google 'MS21919', search ebay, etc - that's the mil-spec # for that design of clamp, most are made by Umpco, sometimes you'll find them in old-stock batches of mixed sizes being disposed of by aircraft A&P shops, etc. that'll go very cheap.

welder-joe on evil Bay has a pack of 12 SS brake line clamps, I've bought his packs several times and find they work well, 3 times less than what you pay anywhere else
