YES....Spirit Industries builds buckets and so does Speedway Motors...I'm sure there are many more. I have the LAST Total Performance T-Bucket Kits From Total Performance before the sold to Speedway. Ill take $1000,00 for it and it comes with a fresh 355 inch 350 chevy motor and new Baker Turbo 350 trans & 3200 convertor. The kit has the Complete Chrome Packaging, Wilwood rear disc brakes, polished Hurst airheart front disc and much more...... 10,000 or trade takes it..... here a photo. Heart problems forces sale or Trade, I was gonna put a Topolono body on it or maybe even a Bantam body? Thx Doo Doo Head
ohh no you didnt tell G-pa you were gonna scrap his prize possessions when "scrap was high" did you ???
some t-buckets could be cool but I dont know about the ol "Fad-T's" - they had their time & place as did a lot of different versions of these old rides
ha ha it looks like a rolling juke box to me is a line from the movie gumball rally lol , id still like one as the kookie car T Bucket was the first hotrod i always liked when i was developing the adiction to all things mechanical ,
The Speedway Tribute T hasn't been mentioned yet. With all due respect to the purist, this his how a T Bucket should look. Even though Speedway sells the simplest steel parts that have been made in Taiwan, at least they got the look of this right...
no we told him to scrap the old farm equipment that is not worth a shit. Balers that have ben burnt in grass fires and old plows all kinds of crap. I would never scrap one of the cars. I am going to try to get out there this weekend and try to see whats all in there. I have not looked at the stuff in years, probably the last time he looked at it.
It's going to end even weirder because this guy will never get any of this shit and would not have a clue what to do with it even if he did. This is a lost cause. Tell you grandpappy to shit or get off the pot. He can't take it with him. He'll understand that. Surprise us and actually end up with just one car you are talking about. I'll check back in a month and see how you did. Anybody else here think this is going nowhere. Good luck!
This is so true! Alot of you young guys will drive down this road eventually ........Please remember this when you can't get the the old guy to let go of something..... Life is a trip not easily forgotten.... Kenny
Curbspeed you tell him that. The way I see it even though I would not like to see it he can let them rot if he wants. He spent all of ww2 as a naval pilot and the shit he went through`he can do what the hell he wants to with them.
As for myself ..I would love to see an original T built with no aftermarket parts..ther are only a few that have been on here..and they always get a lot of attention..just my "2"
If I was a grandfather and one of my grandsons wanted a model T to build up and I had a barn full of them I think I'd probably help him out.... I don't know, just me... I do like T's though, here's Turkeyjerk's.. all steel, old stuff through-out:
You would think he would. He is a hard ass that thanks that the only time you dont work is on Sunday to go to church.
I would like to get one before he passes because I have some family that is very gready. All they talk about at family functions is what they are going to do with all the land he owns.
My oninion, being a Granddad, leave him alone as long as he is in his right mind. It's His S--t so leave him alone. If he enjoys it, GOOD it's his!!
And he is not in his right mind. He told my dad one day that someone has biged his house and they are getting in the house at night.
I'm building one right now. =) Fun rods to build and drive. =) They're like a sweet bathtub on wheels. 'cept with over 600 horsepower they become a bit of a handful. =P Trust me! Super fun cars to play with in my opinion.
id also like to build a T bucket using the dual carb 263 buick straight 8 engine but man it would be a long framed beast , and heavy in the front end
