Boones, The frame is looking great. I know what you mean about the motivation. I spend days working the little **** that takes for ever and it seems like it's never going to end. I'm still pushing to be ready to tear it down for final welding, body work and paint within a couple of weeks.
Here's a couple of pics of my progress.

If it makes you guys feel any better, about all I've got done is sold the car in my garage (to be picked up this week), bought the steel for my frame, got my engine home (from KY - still in another car in my driveway), and finally decided on which of my 3 bodies I am going to use for sure. I'll post some pics of all in the next couple days, but it'll be a bit yet before it'll all be in the same frame! Anyone have any suggestions on where to start?

Should I lay out the frame and build it first, or set the body & axles where I want it to ride, and build the frame around that???

Well this is a start, I know there are alot of others building Sedans right now.. Come on guys, get the camera out and let us see what you are doing.. Tudor ?? I know you must have some status..

hiboy32, I really like the sedan, very simple looking.

Lead, your ride is sitting good, how about a shot of it with the door open, would love to see where the floor sits compared to the opening. I would have gone this route if I thought I would enjoy driving the car once it was finished.

that looks killer. That will surely motivate me to get going, I am close to getting the frame painted. It will have to wait till I move in two weeks.

Then I will have more shop room to get it done.

good job Boones son. Sorry I didn't mention the Johny Paycheck deal, I didn't think you'd come this far for that!

It almost looks burgandy in that picture

I will shoot some pics tonight

I will be at Billetproof in Detroit, Hunnert, and probably the road rockets show this year. Lemme know if you get south of GR ever... Got some great advice from a guy on here about a cam to use & porting for the heads. I just bought a 394 flywheel, but I don't know that it will fit my 56 324 - guessing not but the price was right.

I'll get a picture of it tonight. My 33 PU is chopped 6" and channeled 8". It's fun as hell to drive, but I have to get out and stretch after about 1-1/2 hours to get the circulation back in my legs. When I built the frame for the sedan I Z'ed the **** out of it front and back. The floor only sits about an inch higher than stock. I have a load of leg and head room the way I set up the seat, and lI ook right out the windshield. I'll miss having my knees to rest my chip on!!

    Everybody...

have a look at at picture that I took here in Florida about three years ago...

All steel '32 Ford Sedan body...set up to look like a dirt track racer...but no...it's really a street rod...!!! Notice the long header pipe obscured behind the side bumpers. Taken at the Orlando Florida "GoodGuy's" meet, 2002.

What is that grille shell in the Levis Cl***ic Sedan...? Is that a Model-A body, or something else...?

Boones, Is this the shot you were looking for?
The p***enger side is straight across. I had to bump up the drivers side floor for the master cylinder, but it feels good with the pedal position.
I have the seat bottoms propped up to about where I figure the cushion are suposed to end up with my *** in them, so you can see the head room.

Yep that is it. The floor is not nearly raised as must as I thought it would be. Did you Z the frame at the firewall?

That is a good idea for your seats, to raise the floor like that.

I had to start on replacing hte bathroom floor last night so I don't have any real recent shots -

but here is the back of my car with the tail lights installed and the frame bobbed,
mine is a 31 sedan on 32 rails - highboy.

Yea, it's Z'ed 5" just behind the firewall and 14" in the rear.
The frame is 2x3 tubing with the bottom of the frame about a 1/4" lower than the body. It ends up looking like an 8" channel.

Can't post pictures as of yet. I have the 4" chop to finish welding up, as of now its sitting outside. Acquired a nice 364 Nailhead and 3x2 Weiand intake which I have redone. The Sedan is a '30 A Tudor and I'm waiting for the new ***le to show up in the mail. It'll be rolling by this fall, have a few other peoples stuff I have to get out of the way first.
