Reminding you that the NE Georgia Swap Meet is this weekend, at Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia. (I-85 to Exit 129/Hwy53, West 4 miles)

We're adding a cruise this month, too, with designated parking for any cool cars.

We're also adding a new space size: 10x50, for guys who don't want to drop their trailer, but also don't want to buy two 20x25 spaces for $30.
So, for those keeping track, spaces are:
    20x25; $20
    10x50; $20
Each additional space (either size) $10.
Spectators are $3, kids 12-under free.

    YES, you win!!
A brand new............................old car to park in your yard!!

  5. Save my spot...I'll more than likely be late. Talladega has some little event going on this weekend along with the dirt track across speedway boulevard. I'll be in lockdown at the dirt track friday and saturday and probably won't get out 'til early a.m. sunday.

I'll be there...may be with no sleep, but I'll be there.

Yes, the commercial ran three times--didn't get much sleep this weekend, and came into work with a case of cranial ******itis this morning, rendering me incapable of editing/fixing the original post. The multi-posts were deleted.

Sam, you're coming again?! Damn man, I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate that! I'm glad you've found it to be worth your while to travel all the way from Birmingham!
I made the mistake of bringing your original '59 Rocco & Cheaters decals to work--many are hanging at several desks now, they're very popular.

Check your shelves for more Nailhead goodies, if you get a chance (adjustable rockers for 401, and I'm looking for 322 goodies not from Offy)

Tudor--I appreciate the offer on welding the sign frames. I forgot to get back with you last month. I was really short on time, so cut all the metal at home and brought the stuff to work and had one of the guys set up the welder for me to glue them together.

we now return you to your regularly scheduled lives, already in progress

Well it turns out I am going to make it!! I can't go to TN for the drags.

Anybody have two 15 x 5 small chevy pattern steel wheels? Non rally preferably but not required. I'll take them from ya Suanday if ya can bring em!!

    See you fellas there

  11. Mr. Brad54,

I'll be there, as usual. Please send Brad Junior (I like this kid!) up the hill to stake out my territory!

I've talked to many of my locals, and there's a least a half-dozen that should be coming on down to look for some deals. I showed them some of the stuff I bought there the past few meets and now they're hyped!

Glad to hear Pinstriper is making a return visit. Sam and his family are super nice. His Dad is a rally cool  guy! Had them as tenants at Charlotte. We had fun.:)

Get your trailer out before it rains again!

Say Tudor, (anyone home?), you still need 16" rims? I'll have them. All you'll have to do is "Step-Up!".;)

Hey Modified, I already made a deal with Harison on some 16x4's, it honestly slipped my mind that you had those.

got any 15 x 5" small chevy pattern???

Pinstriper, can yo bring me one of them small floor mount gas pedals? One of the skinny ones? Hell - you are probably already out at the track?

Got your spot all squared away.

Anyone going to the Stone Mountain show on Saturday? I'll be there handing out fliers, and I think I'm going to try to get to the Peach State Chevelle show in the afternoon.

    See you guys on sundaySundaySunday!

We're selling a little over 50 spaces on average--and I've gotten some calls from guys this month who have never been there yet. It keeps growing a little bit every month.
We added a cruise-in this month with it, and the Atlanta paper actually included it in their listing, so it should do pretty well. The weather is also supposed to be really nice.
Hope to see you there--but I know 400 miles is a looooong round trip!

  17. Deuce,

Come on down (or is it over from where you are!!??) and have some fun!!

Not sure if HRP will be there. He's got some downtime on his daily ride.

This'll be my 8th one, and each one has better than the one previous.

Small enough to take your time to look at everything and still have time to sit down and BS hot rods.

Several guys are just cleaning out their garages to get beer and gas money!!!! I usually make enough to put gas in my cars for the month!

If ya' didn't already sell it, bring your old 3-window dash. Ya' might hit a home run!!!;)

Yes.........I talked with HRP at the Johnny Paycheck get together and the motor was back together and he hoped to be riding by this week end.

I sold the 3W dash..... :) to a nice HAMB lurker in Kangaroo land ( down under ) But the MRS and I may just ride down......

    Save me a Diet Coke.....

    .

  20. I'll have to remember to pull some Diet Cokes outa' my wife's side of the fridge before I leave. My side is Mountain Dew, Dr.Pepper and beer!!! (actually, reverse order is more correct!).

    Be lookin' for ya'!!

Wow - what an awesome day. Met some cool folks. One oldtimer I met, used to race nascar back in 51 and had raced on the Daytona beach track. That was a cool story.

Awesome weather, great day to run the hot rod.

Thanks for bringing the rest of those 4-71 parts Modified Driver. I should have that thing going in no time.

The burnouts will really be effective after that! Hope ya got all the smoke out of yuor truck! Good to see ya man.

    Thanks again Brad!

  24. Tudor,

If there's any carcinogens in tire smoke, I'm a dead man!!!!!! There's absolutely no doubt your '46 has Posi ;).

My little truck has been baptized by burn out smoke  .

I'm gonna program my mobile phone with the Atlanta Region EPA phone # :D.

Glad that 4-71 set-up you bought (stole) from me for $450 worked out! I have a line on another for $275, ya' interested?

    Brad,

Another good meet. Good turnout. Had a good time. Couldn't have ordered a nicer day.

My buddies, from up Greenville, SC way, scored on some good parts. It was their first time there and they left with a smile on their face :) . I'm sure they'll be back. Again, I picked up several neat keeper items.

My parts sales were pretty good. I'll just have to learn to concentrate on sellin', rather than buyin'!!!

Guys, thanks for the help loading my junk up at the end of the day.

Come up here and pay me a visit!!

    See ya' next month.
