I stumbled on this 33 a few weeks ago, and figured it sold, seeing as i never got a call back even after i double checked with leaving another message. Well it popped back up friday on CL and the owner hadn't sold it, he just some how missed my messages. After a few more pics, I woke up this morning and hauled my **** to Arizona sense the boss was nice enough to let me have it off ;). This truck has one of the nicest cabs i've come across, with some damn beautiful doors. It has a little Pinto 4 banger in it that the original builder put in it back in the 70's to help deal with the gas shortage. It has a gennie 32 insert and hood, but im not sure if the sides are originals or repop. not sure when they started repopping them but these are at least 16+ years old. Just a very clean stalled project from the 70's.. I intended to fix it up a little and either make or find a bed and flip it, but my mind is already wandering about a nice little Townsends shop truck!!

  7. Congrats on the nice score. My buddy has that motor in his A pickup - he has driven it everyday for 20+years to work without issue.

  12. noice, noice, noice.....I think you should make a shop truck, sell the merc, and make it simple and fun-ctional.

    Talk later, great find.

Isky used to make a cam for the 2.0 Pinto motors... the one in my RPU runs like a ****d ape and is a blast to drive. PLENTY of power to play with.

  16. Looks like '32 cab (or at least cab back panel) and '33/'34 dash and firewall.

Yep, it's a '33 truck and I'm pretty sure the '32 25 louver hood sides are repo's. Deuce Roadster did a thread on identifying them.

32-33 cab back panel is the same. Kind of a sensitive subject with me....
