    I was wondering if anyone has put a Turbo 350 into a '58-'62 Corvette?
If so, any problems, or does anyone know of a kit to do this?
Any info would be appreciate, building a '62 Corvette for an older lady and the Vette is a stick car now.

It is an easy switch. You can use the stock driveshaft and just need to fab a new trans mount. Somewhere I have a mount I made on a shelf. Let me know I can take a photo of it. I made the switch in a weekend when I was having problems with the Muncie I have in the car and then switched back.-Jim

    Ditto....easy swap....several options on shifters....Lokar, B&M, Hurst, etc.

Besides the tranny mount, you will need to swap in the kickdown linkage. You might have to modify the arm a 'little'.

Kevin here are some pics of the trans mount. I used a scrap piece of 3 x 4 angle and a small piece of 2 x 2 angle. It bolts in the stock location of the stock mount and then the small portion bolts to the rubber trans mount. I got on the car pretty hard and believed I had the geometry right and would be glad to send you a pattern if you would like-Jim

I just realized how nice it is that the HAMB has no Corvette purists on here. They'd be apoplectic over this thread. I've had several 'vettes, but I got tired of the anally retentive purists telling me that worm-drive hose clamps are incorrect....
