Weight of a 67 Olds Cutlass S convertable??

    would anyone know what the weight of a 1967 cutlass convertable would be.anyone know of any web sites that may have the info?just got this rag today and was wondering.
     
  2. I'd guess around 3500-3700lbs-but I guess more than I know.........;)

    lol sounds like me..I was thinking it would be around 3800 or 3900. but friend of mine was saying he thought it would be closer to 4200. seems like alot to me.if its over 2 tons I see a 455 in her future

    Dont know how close NADA.com is, but they list it as 3358 lbs.

    that would be nice(3358)I may drive it up to the race track to see what it is for sure.half the time the scale is down up there.325 HP 425 would make a 3358 pound car run pretty good wouldn't itone thing for sure the 330 thats in her has got to go it runs but thats about it just enough to put around the block once or twice

    though it'd be somewhere on the car for some reason...no dice, sorry.

    a big block would bolt in easy.....but small blocks still have a LOT of torque!

    I'll take the 330 if you don't want it. Got a friend with a 65 Jestar that has a bad rod bearing in his 330.

    my 68 442 convert with 400 turbo 400 auto no ac no pwr windows weighed 3870 at the track with 3/4 tank of gas

    I'll let ya know when I get it out it won't be to long, 2 speed trans is coming out 2 .Ive got summer fever need to get out of town with the top down.thanks for the reply guys 3867 as Roberts says sounds more like it.I get it on the scales I'll let every one know for sure

    Try looking in the oldsfaq on www.442.com thats the place for all things cutlass/442/f-85. I'd guess it weighs around 3900. Those 330SBO's run awesome, my old man's 67 Vista came with a 2bbl version and a switch pitch TH400. It'd lay some tracks.
