    Rose D. Rhoades (named after my mom) 7lbs-2oz at 12:39! Almost on my birthday,yesterday....

    Congratulations - you are in for a heart-warming life from now on. My first granddaughter turns 1 this month and I never thought a person could feel this way about a small person (especially when my wife and I are not the ones up half the night, changing diapers, etc). We're just there for the cooing and babbling, holding while she sleeps on your shoulder, and the occasional spit-up.

    Congratulations Bob,,one of the greatest pleasures in life is holding that first grandchild and any others that follow.

    I have 3 grandchildren,,Hannah is the oldest at 14,,Matthew is 11 and our youngest is Veda at 3.

    Spend as much time with Rose as possible,,you won't believe how fast she will grow!
