portable cd player in car

I am not into high tech music devices but I am looking for what works in the way of a "plug into lighter" type cd/dvd player that maybe could utilize the vehicle sound sysytem, Thanks,

 

my buddy just picked up a pickup with a walmart box with 2 6in subs and tweeters that the guy had mounted a deck into that plugged into the ciggy lighter. sounded pretty good

 

Probably ought to hit eBay, or a thrift shop for a sony walkman type disc player...these days though, I'd just go with an MP3 player though, you already have a computer.

If you do a search, there's at least 1 thread on the HAMB about installing one in a car without using an indash type head unit. Try MP3 or Ipod in your search terms.
