    Looks awesome Skip!!

I had the same tank in my Buick and make sure you seat the gasket and retaining ring for the sending unit well..... I *thought* I had the retaining ring as tight as it would go without breaking only to hear "Hey man, you're leaking fuel" the first time I tried to fill it. Thankfully I made it back to my driveway before it let loose. Trust me, 15 or so gallons of fuel come outta that hole FAST when the retaining ring blows out.

Wow, very nice!!! I would love to see it in person. I also plan on using New Age for my chrome work. They quoted me some very reasonable prices.

How did I miss the $hiny $tuff post!!!

From a pic it looks amazing. I'll be needing the garnish moulding and dash rail from my coupe and some misc engine pieces done soon and they'll be the ones to do it.

I'll have to swing by and drool next time I'm in your area. :D

Skip, sorry if this is redundant but I couldn't see in the pictures... did you make new spring mounts for the back? or just de arch, blocks, and C notch? Such a great looking car and amazing craftsmanship!

Always a treat when **** Baskin of famed Baskin Upholstery comes by because he is a Hot Rod and Custom historian and his creative mind on upholstery of the era I am after is always a learning experience for me.

I have been given the Baskin "I am impressed" seal of aproval and it really made my day. He has also invited me to his collection to look at a couple of Custom parts for the build.

Gread build. Love shubox vickys. My last shubox I used a 66 Comet gas tank.....same size and shape as a mustang but has a filler on the left side instead of the back. You can actually use the old original filler location if you want to. Those work great on shuboxes with a bad trunk floor...just need a little original metal around the edges of the trunk floor to bolt 'em in place.
Both of these cars were mine but not at the same time...the coupe got the comet tank.

Thanks Dave.....Baskins upholstery has been in business since the forties and **** being a young man in the mid fifties can still remember the styles from that era.
