A couple days ago,I posted in the"Historic Stock Car Photos" thread for a buddy of mine. I thought that he could just google his name and this site and post would be listed. Couldn't get this to happen even by doing an advanced search and listing this site to search in. Does anyone know why this site wasn't listed whenever I searched his name in Google.com?

I use google sometimes to search the HAMB for images or keywords. Just replace the http eg.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com with site "keyword" site://www.jalopyjournal.com In Google click images tab and any image in a post labeled with your keyword will be shown or just search a thread. Easy.
Thanks for the suggestions. Played around with this last night and I learned alot. (and it was easy) You're right!! Googled his name this morning and there it was. Thanks again.
Hey Folks, Changing gears on this topic, does anyone know if the boards on the social groups are blocked from Google? I'm asking because they do not seem to show up in searches. For example, when I originally searched for information on my IH Metro van this thread was the top result... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282902&showall=1 And it is what lead me to join the HAMB. But there are a lot of other forums like the social groups... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=667 That do not seem to show up in Google results. I realize that Google can't index everything, but these other groups seem curiously missing. Thanks, Chris
