so im thinking of trying to get some folk together for a car show up here in my neck of the woods. basically just a shoot the shit session, bbq, swap meet, beer drinkn good ol time. i have yet to check on the local fairgrounds yet. but will getr done. what im running into is the date. i cant decide on a date. heres a list of events i can think of just right off 1st weekend in july- goodguys des moines NOTHING really towards the end of july aug 19-20 springfield swap meet sept 17- kc swap meet oct 2 local car show sept 24 ia swap meet sept-2 big fair here just open for suggestions at this point. wanting to try and get kc and des moines rodders involved im located in bethany mo, 64424 if anyone local would wanta get involved
Most of us would also like to be in Joplin the weekend of the 20th of August. Nothing special just food and bs session. It ooks to me by your schedual the end of july is best for about everyone.
Last weekend in July is KKOA Salina; Labor Day Weekend is both Greaserama and Goodguys in Kansas City. I'd be open to coming if you don't turn your nose up at my (horrors) 1968 Mercury.
hey guy im just north of you about 75 miles ??? ,say if we had something at bethany its close for everybody ? if only some of the hambers knew how many 40 willys cars that was in your area over the yrs ! i have hauled about 3 nice cars out of there ! was a dealer there that sold them new ,and had several out back ! them was the good old days ?and all i wanted was anglias ? keep us posted on some kind of get together? mike "carryallman" wahl
HA.M.B. Drag Nationals a MOKAN Aug 20. Your best bet for getting together. Some will undoubtably cook in host hotel park lot.
I agree that the end of July looks good getting much later starts to interfere with the event mentioned
