I picked up an old spotlight today. It is 6V and works. Problem: It has a broken handle. I though a set of Spotlight handles i had off of a 53 Caddy would work, but the mounting is different. Does anyone know where these can be found???
    Thanks!

if it's unity, they carry replacement parts or look on ebay, otherwise, you better get off your carcass and get those feet moving. Time for a hunt.

There is no name on the outside. It is way different than the Caddy Spot Parts I have.

The last one you posted is a unity. All the new parts are interchangeable with the old ones, with a few small modifications, like the shaft locking bolt through the handle is a bit different on the new ones. The newer handle bodies don't have the little wire clip screwed into them. But overall you can replace any part on your old unity with parts from a new one. You can order any individual parts from unity, but it may be cheaper to buy a used police car spot and mix and match parts.

I am not sure what the manufacturer is on the new one. The handles are totally differnt where they mount.

  7. Ya might check with your local truck equipment shops like where they build utility trucks etc. I sold Unity spotlights for 30 years. Don't care if I ever see another one.

looks Guide to me...if so, th eresemblance to Unity is very superficial...it is a rack and pinion mechanism!
