351C 1850-3 huanted running..

BOy this car is frustrating ..

Thought I found the problem with the 351C the intake was warped and got shaved

Soon as I put it on all adjusted 18.1 inches of va***n and #1 showed alittle off.. So the machine shop guy sujuested I put sea faom in the tank and I put 1/4 of the bottle in the oil..

It was test tun and ran fine.. This was tuesday today being friday and a show this sunday .. I got it started to take it home..

And AGAIN its running bad this time showing 1 3 5 cyls not firing on my Bear Ace machine plus if you pull the wires off No differance in idle showing a problem

? is could the sea foam do something to the carb or oil (hydrolic lifters in the 351c Cobra engine) Thanks..............

 

Have you run a compression or leak down check?Do you have fire on those dead plugs? Herb.

 

GOT IT RUNNING AGAIN>>>!

What I did was take out the idle mixture screws blew comprest air in them (both sides)

Started it up and runs like it did 3 dyas ago!!

Also I change a plug (evan though it was new ) to a AC one and opower checks perfect..

Looks like its show time for Sudays Ford DAy....
