"Hey, who cut the cheese?"......."He who smelt it dealt it" Reminds me of these lines from American Grafitti. I can see it in Jo's Merc. Anyway, I kinda like it. All of it. When you get vintage gauges, it'll be right on and different. Does that fur really move in the wind when the windows are down?

Chris- what's the history on this car? Did you do everything yourself or is it a freshened up, repainted survivor? The '40 headlights are cool- obviously you don't see them on a shoebox often. Are they something you did? Just wondering where all your ideas came from- There's a lot of good ideas in this car.

Well man when I got the car in 2007 it was pretty much a stocker from that sat since the late 70's being run around the block once a year. The day I bought it the guy said it wouldnt start and that the battery was just dead so I grabbed it up for the right price. I am only like the 3rd owner of the car. We were originally going to just chop it in a few weekends at my friends house then that turned into a 13 month restereation of pretty much everything except pulling the body from the frame. The chop is about 4.5 in the front and 6 in the rear. The motor is just a dressed up flatty that may have been rebuilt. The 40 headlights came from all of use(myself and friends working on the car) have 40 fords so we decided to run a set of 40 ford headlights and hood orniment and trim. then the paint was going to be burnt orange wich was big $$$$ then green simaler to the green on Voodoo Larrys voodoo idle then a bunch of other colors and then one day my friend john gave me a sample of gold. And during the week my other friend mike sprayed it around the windows to put gl*** in it for the 08 hunnert pileup. then the car became gold and with 24 hours of taping it was gold with flames. The interior came from the Pharoahs car wich is my insperation. So long storry short we did everything ourselves in the garage except cut the gl***.
