    what to do today????
i dont have the brake kit, or shocks for the front end yet (in the mail). so dont see the point in putting the front end back together. maybe ill pull the dash clean up the inside and start getting ready to install the new floor pans.... maybe shoot some of that white on the dash. pictures at the end of the day!

"out with the old dash", "in with the new", now, just curious lol, but did you get a new 57 ford dash by chance? if so, i noticed you have the black gauge cluster. im also painting my dash in my '58 white, and the black gauge cluster could be useful. if you dont need it i'll take it :D nice project btw, im getting my disc brake swap kit soon too, hopefully its not too hard to figure out

the kit is awesome..... the fit between the caliper and the bracket is tight.. at first i did not think it would go on... but was fine with a little wigglin' and the grease the kit says to use... the only thing that was not perfect was the supplied bolts to put the brackets on the car... went a 1/2 inch. longer (the supplied ones did not go all the way through the nut) but other than that perfect set up. we still have not done the brake lines... and it will be awhile before we test stopping power, but as of now supper happy with the kit and the service we have received from SCAREBIRD. they are quick to answer questions through e-mail... and the kits were at my door much faster than expected.... A-1 company!!

    Thank you for the kudos.

We will have to get longer bolts for that kit - we must have sent bolts for the GXY and forgot about the extra material on the offset...

well its payday today for me, (thank god), gotta pay some bills but if i have anything that i can use leftover, im gonna set it aside for this disc brake kit. can i ask a rough ballpark estimate of how much you spent all together on things?
i.e. the kit, rotors, brakelines, etc.?

Really nice! Three girls and not one of them interested in building cars. Now that they are grown they all three want a "kool" car. One wants a 70 GTO Judge, one a 40Ford and the other wants my 36 Chevy. Too old to build all those cars.....
