Ok so this is my first project and im already a little stuck. I bought this truck from a hot rod shop, was the owners project, but between his model A and the bel air there wasnt much room or time. So i got it! Wanted one of these for years! Ok so here is where i sit, i got the truck stripped down to the frame. I installed a front ifs off a crown vic( police car), so i have engine mounts for a 4.6. Naturally i wanted an amazing engine and i found 1, its a rouch 427r engine. So heres the problem, the wiring, i have the wiring harness and computer but that is all, if any of you could help me with where to get a wiring kit or something of that nature i would be exstremely gratefull

Well, folks are gonna tell you that it's not traditional and yada yada yada.
But before they do, you might take a look at the Street & Performance website. They're outta Mena, Arkansas.

Wow that was quick, and im betting that ill get alot of comments on it. Thanks

  4. If you have the wiring harness, get a schematic for it. Trace stuff down and eliminate what you don't need.

Is the Rousch engine EFI? or carb?

I used a harness from a 1969 Chevy pickup on my 49 F1 but it has a simple 1955 Ford OHV carb'd engine.

I hope that you did your homework before you installed that CV IFS...they are very wide for this truck. As for the wiring, there are kits offered from various vendors even FOMOCO.
