does anyone know a great paint and body shop in austin texas??

    i have a 63' riviera that is ready for paint and i'm moving to austin in a few weeks. a bulk of the body work has been done. if anyone knows of a reputable paint and body shop in town, i would like to hear about it. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

    the majority of good shops will not paint a car they didn't do the underlying work on, or at least see what was done. it's a reputation thing, if something happens a year later, it's always "who painted the car?" and not "who did the work under the paint?"

    thanks guys. keep them coming. i did the underlying body and primer work. without question, it's solid. i used quality products - evercoat, ppg, etc. thanks. also, anyword on car clubs, mechanics, etc?

    Rent a booth when you get there and paint it yourself id say...especially if you did all the hard prep...its time for the fun rewarding work now!!

    trust me, i'm thinking about it but laying down primer is much more forgiving than paint. i can weld, i can dissemble/re***emble, and a few other things, but i specialize in royally screwing things up. i don't want to have to paint it twice. thanks guys.
