Heres some pics of my frame in progress. It's nearly finished, hope to have a roller by mid-summer! I've been waiting a couple of months to get it but it's definately looking like it was worth the wait.

Very nice work! Great detail. Give us the lowdown on your jig, is it just a big flat table? did you make it yourself?

Actually, I am not building it, sorry I didn't clarify that. I posted some more photos here

I am having a guy named Chad Ritter and one of his buddies doing it, I belive Chad frequents this board but can't remember his handle. Anyway this is how I found out about him

You can contact him via e-mail through his site. He is a very nice guy to work with and has alot of information to share with newbies like myself.

This frame will carry a flathead motor, pics and specs here.

1931 A Sedan, 39 Ford truck Grille and radiator, F1 front brakes and steering, Magnum 5" dropped axle with 46-48 split bones, 51 Ford 3 spd OD tranny, 51 rear end 4.10 ratio, P & J ladder bars and a transverse spring.

I still haven't figured out what springs to go with or tire and wheel sizes. Frame has an 8" kickup in the rear, I would really like some more input on that so I don't have to mess around buying 10 different springs (I'm poor, LOL).

Thanks for the comments and feedback

  12. I'l check tonight - I'll only be slightly upset if it is the one I found in the middle of the road 10 years ago that will get on 1 1/2" bolts - I use that one for some stuff - but, no I don't need it back. Hopefully that one is still hanging on my wall at home and that was one that has been hidden in there from the days of Slaz.

    consider it a bonus!
