The Tin Butchers club would like to thank everyone who attended our 5th annual show today in Belvidere, Illinois; all of you make the show what it is. This was our best show to date; especially because it didn't rain! Vendors, car entries and spectator counts were all up from last year. Hope you had a great time and continue to spread the word about our show. Thanks again; hope to see many of you around this coming summer and again next year at S**** Drive #6. Tin Butchers rod club.
It was a nice swap meet for me. bought some wide whites, wheels, etc. It was especially nice to run into some acquaintances, especially by pals Tudor Jeff and Stick Shift. They are good folks, for Vagabonds! thanks to the Tin Butchers for putting on the event
I had a good time and thought it was a nice, laid back event. I was surprised that there weren't a few more guys from Iowa there.
Hey - this guy from Iowa was there! The hospitality shown by the Tin Butchers is always top notch. Thanks for all your help guys and I am sure we will seeya down the road this summer....
I wanted to go but had to go try to buy a house. The wife thought that was a bigger priority. But its got like a 40 by 50 garage so I guess. Next year, I hope. Glad to see you had a good show Sam.
Yeah, John, I saw you and said Hi on my way in the gate. I was going by the plates on the cars. I didn't see any other Iowa plates on cars in the show. I saw Tom there too, handing out flyers for his swap meet, and heard his name called for one of the cash drawings.
Nice show and swap, I scored a steering wheel and column for my wife 33 dodge pick we are building. I have scored some good parts the last 3 years. Thanks for putting it on.
This years show was great. The weather was descent and the swap was real good. Thanks to the Tin Butchers.
The show went really well. It was a bit chilly for June, but maybe I should have brought my coat. Anyone have any pics? Especially of the black & white 57 Chevy 4dr hardtop....or maybe the pinup contest.
