I have what use to be a sports coupe with the windshield cut off and no doors. I was going to put roadster doors on it with a roadster windshield but I know this makes the body several inches shorter. does it look stupid if this is done. Any pics out there of one done this way? thanks guys

car looks pretty good. It looks to have coupe doors and I was wondering how it will look with roadster doors. might look really short.

The roadster doors are nut just shorter, the Doors are not so tall like the sport coupe, its way diffrents quarterpanels, the only thing thats are the same is the tank and the panel on the sides under the tank. And the trunklid.
Its à LOT of work to make à coupster look like roadster.
    Sorry bad english.

That is a sport coupe with roadster doors and roadster cowl. The body has been reversed sectioned 2 inches taller. Sitting on 32 rails.

because I bought this a few years ago and now have a frame and front suspension coming together along with a drive train ready to go in the shop. Also now have 3 driver side roadster doors for 28 29. also have a set of 30 31 roadster doors too just need a good roadster body now.

  11. Whit,

Just go to HHR Reunion this weekend and study Jim's coupester from Ohio. He has a really great looking coupe turned roadster and will gladly explain how he built it.

Or forget your project and buy my T touring project car.

I think to pull it off properly you need to use a roadster cowl. As you see on my car, its really hard to tell at first glance what I actually started out with - And that was exactly my intention. I think modifications are cool when you have a hard time telling what they were, but you can see that something is definitely different. They enhance but don't overpower.
