Just wanted to share some pics of this PU we've been working on. All seams are or will be filled, doors shaved, drip rails shaved, bed floor and wheel wells raised, air bagged, and much more to come.
We akso have rounded all the corner and filled the seams in the cab. The front clip is welded together and seams filled. So much more is planned. We are also removing all the bondo that was in it as we go.
damn, that's an awesome truck. that body style looks so damn good with it layed out. you guys do some killer work. keep the pictures coming.
Those trucks look good soo low. Extending the bedsides up 6" to match the cab would look real sweet too.
Looks good. Filled seams are a very nice touch on those. Makes me wish grandpa's '66 was still around.
Yeah, with that raised bed floor, I agree (cool idea on the floor, BTW, something I was debating on my '61 F100). That's lots of extra work though, but it would really set it apart. It's looking *****in' right now though!
Hey I saw that in person at your shop, but you were off doing something else. I work at a custom shop in Portland and came down to check things out. That truck will be awesome when its done. Whose gonna paint it?
was this truck in pomona summer 03 by any chance? i'll have to see if i can dig up the photo. by the way looks good.
We will paint it here. It will be Porsche artic silver with cadillac pearl white roof. and pearl leather interior. We will debut it at hot August nights. The original sail panel trim will be airbrushed on to sperate the top color.
Here's my new poor man's version. Receiving patch panels, paint, and interior shortly. Just picked up some 14 inch flat spokes an skinny whites too. W/ the 14's and the installation of block hugger headers and an exhaust that's closer to the body, it's gonna' lay frame
yeah, its a pretty sweet truck. I personally think it needs about a 3" chop, but i dont think thats gonna happen. Here are some pics of my panel, its that body style, laid out, and chopped 6". Its also got some frame mods, and it does lay rocker. Sorry for the ****py pics, ill get some more later, when i get it down here. Also, 2 of those pics are from my phone.
Looks good Marty. My dad is building a Dodge A100 pu and is also shaving it clean and filling all the seams . Even welding the tailgate solid . Running a BB in it . Say , are you going to bring that truck to HOT-ROD-A-RAMA? Josh
hey, wasnt tryin to hijack the post, i was tryin to get enough guys to say it would look better with a slight chop, enough to convince the owner to let us chop it.
