Im about to order a butt load of stuff to get my car going. Engine parts such as manifold, header, dist, muffler, waterpump, radiator, fan, ect.... Im looking for a website that has good prices with free shipping. I think Im going to try to order alot of stuff to get my car going. Its been too long my car has been sitting there on my driveway. 7 years. So I want to get it going.

Anybody know good websites with free shipping? I guess like a site that has everything like Jegs or Summit.

Im building a 64 Impala wagon. I pretty much need engine drivetrain parts.

    Thanks in advance.

Jegs and Summit both sometimes offer free shipping if the order is big enough

There's no such thing a free shipping. You are paying for it one way or another.
Do your research including shipping and go from there.
The bottom line is all that matters, not who's doing the "free shipping".

Bottom Line...the real total FULL PRICE

everything else is details and nonsense

    ===============

if a guy is selling something for $12 with free shipping and another guy is selling it for $9 with $2 shipping, your better of paying for shipping.....dig?

Summit would be your best as there is just the base order charge no matter how much you ship.

look up the parts numbers and run them thru the Orielly's website, you'd be suprised at what they can get and the prices arent far off from the yellow monster. no shipping either.

Check with your local speed shop first. A good size order will get a good repor with them. I know I regularly beet or match online prices when people come in. On some parts you can others you can't. But in the end they get a great deal and walk away with it right then.

  14. Stay local if you can, otherwise for non performance stuff go with http://www.rockauto.com/
You can't beat their prices on the brand name stuff.

I recently ordered a pair of cast iron heads and a bunch of other stuff from Summit and the total shipping was $12.95. As heavy as heads are, I'd say that's almost free shipping.

  17. Many of the Alliance vendors offer free shipping to members, as well as discounts. The $50.00 is a small price to pay for all the info you have gotten since 2006, you'll more than make it up when you purchase...

Prices are the same as Summit and Jegs, $11.95 handling fee.

Website search is shit, but if you have part numbers beforehand it works.

Rockauto.com prices offset shipping costs, don't pay too much for parts getting hung up on free shipping offers.

I've always foiund the shipping charges to be modest at Summit, and if you call them instead of ordering online they can discuss shipping easier than what the computer says. I've had them send items quickly and not pay the extra fees.

I can usually get a car going with a battery and a gallon of gas.

When I buy stuff, I buy from lots of different sources.

Sometimes the local speed shop can get your stuff with not shipping added. We have one in Pensacola that does that, good guys they are and very helpful. Maybe you have one like that in your area.

wouldnt it make more sense to research the prices and quality first ,id rather get the best deal on quality stuff then pay $20 to ship it , than get crap shipped for free

Don't forget to check Amazon and eBay. I always check there before buying parts (no matter what the part is), sometimes places like Summit, Jegs, Speedway, etc will sell on eBay, and beat their own website price. And eBay lets you sort for best price+shipping.

Amazon is a good resource too, I got my Ford Aerostar springs for my '54 for $10 cheaper than the next cheapest price I found, and that was with free Super Saver shipping. Got my shocks there as well, they have listings for pretty much everything you can think of.

I've saved probably $1000 with my Alliance membership over the last 3 years in discounts and free shipping.
