Anybody out there know the exhaust dimensions for a 51 Buick Super with a 263 Inline 8? I purchased it without an exhaust and cant find anyone with repops so i'm thinkin i'll have to make my own. THANKYOU!!!!!
Sorry man, the pipes. Most importantly, the pipe coming off the manifold. I'm sure somebody out there has one (nos, repro, etc...) Or if not, something close to it.
How far are you from Palmer Ma...try calling N.B.Pease & Co. on Foundry St. Get his number off google or Whitepages. He is closed Wednesdays old parts warehouse, tons of stuff
Palmer? Nah thats a nice ride. Thanks for the tip! headin up that way for the Milltown show in Aug. But Im hopin to have the car done in time for it so i'll give em a call.
I would think any reasonably competent exhaust specialty shop could whip that out in short order. I had a complete system done by a local shop on a '41 Buick Sedanet a few years ago in about two hours. Ray
I have always taken mine to local exhaust shops. Couple hours and about 2500 later and u r good to go
Hey Scott take a pic of what you have, and tell me what you need. I can measure it out for you on mine which is stock and complete. Other than me cutting off the hot water heater muffler last night. Chuck
got a couple NOS tailpipes for the buick, takes a special clamp for them think I misplaced them they were some tinny pipes back in the day someone witha card deck can make a head pipe to original specs used to do it all the time, but lost interest many exhaust shops have decks for old vehicles, i am trying to sell out my stuff and forget it try Heartthrob exhaust in Litchfield MN
