not sure why, but i couldn't say no. the initial plans were to just freshen it up for a quick sale, but the more i look at it, i may end up keeping it.

53 bel air, runs, drives, stops really nicely. gotta take care of a few holes, but all in all it's really straight. plus, it came with a ton of extra shit. trim, grill, speedos, and all sorts of other shit that was locked in the trunk.

Hey I know that car!!, the guy that owned it lived next door to me. The guy builds choppers. I heard you got it for a song, I'm glad to see it went to a Hamb'er! Its a great car, not crazy about the old velour interior though. Johnny

I actually haven't got my 32' out to seattle yet, but I think I've seen that car at a rooks(sp?) car show a couple months back. It was the nicest car at the show/get together. It sounds pretty mean too.

I was kinda suprised Chris got rid of that car but he was also talkin about makin a "Grease" hot rod out of it, so its probably in better hands. He got it from his father-in-law who hoarded tons of parts for it, Im sure you can make a chunk of money back on it just by sellin off some of those extra parts. I'd like to see pics of it when you get all one color. Johnny

  11. Nice score. We've got to get together sometime soon. Gup is building a pretty bitching 53 right now, gasser style. The 62 goes in for paint this weekend....

I got dibs on that spare grille if you want to off it....

i've started a "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!" standing BBQ at my house. pretty much every sunday till the weather turns, we'll be working in the gargage, driveway, etc, and drinking beer and eating bbq. you know you are always welcome at my house.

the extra grill is going on the car. the original is pretty bad.

call me sometime homie, or come down on a sunday. feel free to bring your buddies from up north.

could have been, but just for the record, i have no club affiliation....

yeah, just the shit i found in the trunk alone would almost pay for the car
