Well I hope they will be letting us line up tomorrow, I'll be meeting up with Justin B. tomorrow afternoon, we usally go to Applebee's thursday night in San Dimas.
A buddy and I are flying down and picking up a 34 5 window I just purchased. This will be are first time at the swap meet. After the swap meet we are off on our 1200 mile trip north to Washington State with the new coupe! We can't wait!
Rats! The retarded Pinto engine in Joe's old tub is running like shit, #4 cylinder is just along for the ride and the thing won't go faster than 55 mph. That would make for a long, tedious and painful drive to Pamona. Man, I gotta swap the 265 Chevy into this thing soon. I'll be driving my black, full fendered Deuce Tudor with five spokes and slicks instead. See ya'll there.
Any good bands or bars to see in town after-hours of the roadster show? I saw the other post about shops to visit, but didn't see a mention of nighttime events. I'm not very familiar with the Pomona/LA area, but I'm probably going to want to get out and do something in the evening. Any ideas?
The bar-be-que party starts around 2.p.m. saterday in the Swappmeet area, just look for all the different club shirts, bring your own beer, Marky from the shifters usualy plays rocabilly music on his stereo for us, party usualy goes till 10 p.m.well I am off to get in line for the swappmeet.
I'll be there with the bent up bumper on the 32. Be anxious to get BAD BOBS autograph now that he is MORE famous. Hope Chili Phil makes his delicous chili.
It was warm and sunny, got a little sun burned out there today. the Swap Meet seemed bigger and we had a hard time getting a spot as we were near the end of the line up to get in, even though we were there about 8:00am
Hey guys...was there a spot for pick-up, for items being bought in the swap area? I'm arriving in a late model truck and fear I will be forced to park over on the spectator side.
Don't know what it will be like tomorrow, but today one of my guys drove in to the old entrance gate 15 with a 2009 Ford F150 and trailer and parked in the old lot. Then later we went and got it and drove right through the swap meet to pick up a Brookvile body and Chassis.
