Hi...anyone know where to purchase coil spring spacers. From what I remember they were used prior to straight axles on gassers. I think they had a screw that adjusted them....Thanks JT

run a search for "Superior Automotive".

NAPA also sells some items listed under "coil spring stabilizers"

You might had better check your state RCW's before buying and installing any though.
Spacers in between the springs aren't legal in the State of Washington according to the RCW's here
    paragraph 5
    <table style="padding-right:5px" width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="bottom">RCW 46.37.375

    Steering and suspension systems.

    </td> <td valign="top" align="right" nowrap="nowrap">
</td> </tr> </tbody></table> (1) Construction of steering control system. The steering control system shall be constructed and maintained so that no components or attachments, including horn activating mechanism and trim hardware, can catch the driver's clothing or jewelry during normal driving maneuvers.

    (5) Suspension condition. Ball joint seals shall not be cut or cracked. Structural parts shall not be bent or damaged. Stabilizer bars shall be connected. Springs shall not be broken, or extended by spacers. Shock absorber mountings, shackles, and U-bolts shall be securely attached. Rubber bushings shall not be cracked, or extruded out or missing from suspension joints. Radius rods shall not be missing or damaged.

A better way would be to find a pair of longer/ stiffer springs that you could swap into the car to raise the front end without spacers. We used to go to the wrecking yard and look for the springs out of air-conditioned stationwagons of the same brand and close to the same year in the 60's when I helped a couple of friends raise their cars. You might have to do a bit of measuring and experimenting though.

Autozone has them too. The screw in type, not the ones with bolts to extend them.
