Decided on using universal but the windshield may be tricky since i need a new one and it has the chrome in it. i may just delete the chrome option anyways. Anyone know of any windshields out there?

  9. its just flat glass... go to the glass shop with the old one. or make a cardboard template, you might even be able to get a cheap piece of safety glass out of a motor home or what ever and have em cut it down for ya...

Ummm, no it's not a flat glass in the 53. Our local pull-a-part had a 53 Coronet in it with a nice windshield last week. I know it was nice, I sold them the car!
I didn't pull the glass but I do have the side trim and grill still I'd sell cheap.

its a bear getting the trim back in with the ones from oldmoparts.com. They do have it though. Got all the sweepers weather strip etc from them. I'm tempted to leave the wrap around trim off my windows as I can not seem to get them into the tracks

metalman - I'd be interested in the grille if its in decent shape, and possibly some side trim depending on which body style it's for.
