    watson flamed that roadster and dave whittle striped it. and steve from hot rod factory built it for the guy. i think his name was kenny jenkins. i know cause i helped build it when i worked for steve and i helped larry when he flamed it. i dont remember the double stripe though. thanks for the pics of it brings back some great memory's.

    that car/owner live right down the road from me. i remember seeing it in his basement storage a few years ago and heard the story , but don't clearly recall it. i think he said it was originally built for a good friend of his, his buddy died and he bought it from the estate, and would ever sale it. charlie has some other nice rides as well.

    next time i see him ill get a refresher on the history on that car.

  16. I really like the styles of cars you picked to take pictures of. I have the same tastes, too.

    The first 2 pictures you posted ('32 black 5-window coupes) are stunning. The second one just became my new screen saver. Thanks!

    I overheard a show goer tell his @10 year old son as they were looking at a custom: "Hey, look. The same guy that pinstriped this car, pinstriped your Grandpa's coffin."

  22. The tuner lug nuts on the front wheels & the chrome wishbones.. This thing is unbelievable. I wonder if Alan Johnson, built this one also?

    Thats a friend of mine car! Alan Johnson just finished it! its from Mobile, Alabama!! its the real deal, all steel!! NO KIT CAR HERE!!!!

    Yeah, but they wouldn't have sold nearly as many over here with a name like that. "Thames" sounds foreign and exotic, like the Amazon. Mei oui! Je t'aime mon Thames!
