Greetings from the Hoosier state! I've been checking out the GREAT tech and advice on the site and finally decided to jump in the pool! My project that I'm finally going to start on is a '31 Plymouth PA 2 door sedan. It's going to be stock bodied, full fendered, dropped axle in front, cream colored wires, a 241 hemi and a Tremec T5 transmission. Which brings me to the real reason for this post: I've already got a real nice rebuildable (std) 241 and am now starting to look for a boneyard T5. Which one should I get? It seems like there are a zillion varieties all the way from 10-spline input shaft models out of Mustangs to (weaker?) models out of S10 pickups and everything in between. My three main criteria are (1) mechanical speedo hookup, (2) kinda sorta stock shifter position as I'm going to use the original Plymouth shifter and (3) not crazy expensive or hard to find. I figure the hemi might put out 200 hp when done. Thanks in advance for your advice! Dale
