Hey guys, my parents took a cruise with finkd and the guys/girls, here are some pics they got, sorry for the poor quality, don't have the beautiful scenery shots they took, wish I could share Later, Hotrod95
What a great time, travis from kansas rode with me, left my place at 8:30 am, figured we traveled around 400 miles, ended up last five miles in heavy rain and hail! no wipers, hanging head out window following yellow center line, pulling in the house at 9:30 pm, can't wait to do it again! Thanks to all the guys for the "starter help" and to Jeff for laying out a great route.
Thanks for the pics. Nice to see it doesn't always RAIN in other places. Doesn't that song say "It don't rain in Indpls in the summer time"? NOT!
Really wish I could have gone!! Finkd's kid went, could have hung out with him, but maybe next time! Glad it was fun!! I knew once the storm p***es threw Arkcity, all of you on the way back would get it! Glad you all made it! No problem for the pics, glad I could post them up!!
plus your folks are very nice people, enjoyed meeting and visiting with them, you'll have to go next time and i'm sure it wouldn't be long before we do it again. Travis from kansas took some great shots, can't wait to see them on here! And be plenty of "big" cars you can ride in.
Hope one of these times I'll have my 48 done and can cruise right with you guys! Thanks for all the kind words!
Thanks for going , and taking pics. I didn't take any as I was driving , sone lucas took some video, for later veiwing. I had a blast and what a way to spend your fathers day weeekend, with friends and ol cars.
Ain't it the truth, was kool seeing lucas driving jimmys coupe, hes a great kid, had alot of fun with him. Its kool to see a kid play with the old guys. Hope grandma is doing ok, you had a rough week man !
I was wondering about ya guys. I guess 10 miles don't seem to bad unless your the one in the roadster... It was fun to hang out with ya guys for the day. Check out the details of the day.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=600566 Happy Trails, Mick
