    Spaces 906 and 908, Block 71, 5th and Rutherford.

Stop on by, LEAVE me a beer, and buy my junk!!

Waiting in line I spotted a badass Austin Gasser (like Mazmanians) on a trailer, in grey primer. Didn't catch the price, but it'd make a great HAMB drags car...

  12. I'm leaving tomorrow, so I'll see you guys there.

I got the trailer loaded up and ready to go tomorrow morning. Gonna be taking a rough 32-33 Ford truck cab with one door drivers side(rough) a 33 Ford big truck frame, a 37 Ford Truck Hood, Model a Front crossmember, 34 big truck front crossmember, Some 50 Merc wheels, 34 Truck fenders front and back. A 48 Ford axle, some funky ole wire wheels, and alot of small stuff, shifters, pedals, guages, Model A cowl with decent firewall. Gotta make some money to go to PAso. See yall there.

Yep, leaving H-town between 3 and 4 in the morning. Got a laundry list of stuff I need, and a shop full of crap I need to sell. Too bad I'm not taking the stuff the sell to pay for the stuff I need. Quite a conundrum!

See y'all there. If you see a 6' slightly beer gutted almost 30 year old wearing a bleue Mooneyes shirt. That'll be me, hollar. Or if you have a set of Ford Round Spindles F/S, hollar!

    Hope the weather cooperates.

On Wednesday, I bought a V8-60 axle, a cool cast aluminum steering wheel that I guess is from a boat, and some other odds and ends.

Thursday I found and bought a pair of Nailhead spark plug covers, and a copy of "Hot Rods of the '60s" by Andy Southard autographed by Bill Cushenberry, Darryl Starbird, Joe Bailon, and a couple others.

Today I bought a new '32 gas tank for my Model A on deuce rails, a pair of '50 Pontiac taillights, some patch panels for my '27 Roadster, a box of over 100 magazines from the early to late 60's, a couple of cool gauges, an unidentified spare tire cover to make a bike fender out of, and some more odds and ends.

I'm going back tomorrow to see if there's anything I missed!

Just put my name(Phil) next to the big ole family vacation wagon.

Don't forget to tell Mark about that plasma cutter.

I had a good time hanging out.

I left the scrap of paper I'd written your spot on at home. Sorry missed ya.
I did meet Dirty31, and Rusty32, and El Polaco(sp)? Bought a set of friction kicker shocks from them. They all had their cars up there.
Also saw the Assmonkey crew there. I love that midget's car.
I scored all of a '40 Ford frontend A-bone to juice brakes (including the gennie '40 steelies), and a '34 Chevy grill is perfect shape.
Dad picked up his new windshield for his '65 Rivi from a Minnesota company that hauled it down with them to the show. As well as put in his order for new shoes for the Rivi with Newstalgia. 17" American Salt Flat Specials. They should look pretty sharp, I like the way they kinda look like the GS rims.

Other than that I was overly disappointed with the swap meet! To many garage sales. So much non-auto related crap there. The other thing that pissed me off, was how many spots were taken up for things like Campers & Daily Drivers, like it was a parking lot. Ended up equalling making a guy walk 3x's as far as he'd have to, to see all the goods.

For all the guys that were there, I was the one walking the Wiemeraner (Grey Dog). Mission accomplished on that one, that dog slept all the way back to Houston, and all day on Sunday. She was spent.
