You could sell them to the guys on "American Pickers" for $50. Maybe throw a bunch of rotten food, pizza boxes, dog crap, and trash bags full of stinky clothes in there and you can be on "Hoarders"

Understanding, yes, but she'd sell 'em all in a heartbeat. Most of my unbuilt dozens are in shipping boxes in my garage. That way I can fit all 150 of my collector cars in a 2 car garage along with her car and my Pontiac.... It's very harmonious for our marriage...
The shelfs full of built kits and die casts are in my work office/studio and, as long as she doesn't have to, nor is allowed to, dust them, it all works out well as well.
    Good Father's day subject!

    Awesome....!

A Hypothetical : What if those models and the boxes they are in, were full size laying in a field....?

    Just a thought...

Im beginning to know that feeling myself ,Started getting into batmobile corgi cars myself and anything batman related ,I still have my 32 and 29 to work on ,It was easy getting parts at another website ,But luckilly today I just started a real job ,,,, I think Models and diecast cars are the only hobby that shouldnt be considered hoarding ,Price has been going up on model kits from last year as well as diecast .........Not much but a good amount.....

I'm at over a thousand unbuilt or started still in boxes, about 200 built, and probably another 200 "rebuildable" projects. That doesn't include Hot Wheels, Matchboxes, assorted diecasts, slot cars and other assorted toy cars from my youth. Luckily (?), my local hobby shop closed and few local stores carry models, especially at reasonable prices. I picked up two over the weekend, but they're the first I've bought in a few months.

My wife has a list of people to call when I depart this earth that will probably net her a good chunk of change!
