I've been reading back issues of Rodders Digest and I find Gerry Burger's 1955 Pontiac project to be utterly fascinating. I love tri-five Pontiacs and his buildup (Tripower 421? Awesome!) seems to be very much to my taste. I know progress was slow on the car and that lots of magazine buildups never get completed. Did this one? What did it end up like?

Burger sold it to a guy in Florida (I think) a year or so ago. When it was for sale a couple of HAMBers made a run at it, but weren't able to make it happen. He sold it because he was moving and because he's gotten into some racing stuff, and had really lost interest in the car.

No idea where it went or what its current status is though.

    Steve.
