Show us your Patina Engine Bays...

I don't think the engine bay in my Desoto has been cleaned since it left the factory! I will remedy this someday, just not high priority right now...

 

Some good stuff here! Thanks again for the replys. Thinking Gold and shinny is a bit too bling for me. Might just tone things down with a darker motor and firewall. The billet pullys will for sure disapear. Price of fuel going up maybe a performer manifold is in order.

 

it will be easier to just start over than to mask off checkers, depending on what size you want that is a tedious task.

The engine bay that I posted will be cleaned up a ton before I am done. I have always thought that even if the car is rough on the outside when you pop the hood it should be clean as a whistle.

I always love the look on someones face when I pop the hood on one of my old beaters. It is pricless.
