    I don't think the engine bay in my Desoto has been cleaned since it left the factory! I will remedy this someday, just not high priority right now...

    Some good stuff here! Thanks again for the replys. Thinking Gold and shinny is a bit too bling for me. Might just tone things down with a darker motor and firewall. The billet pullys will for sure disapear. Price of fuel going up maybe a performer manifold is in order.

    it will be easier to just start over than to mask off checkers, depending on what size you want that is a tedious task.

    I love patina (whatever this is and ONLY if it's real), but when I see this I feel like a stupid little kid with my rides...

    My secret supercharger dynoboost air cleaner on my fFord sixshooter in my Ranch Wagon. And yes, it's loaded kids. Stay back at least 10 feet while running. ~sololobo~

  9. The engine bay that I posted will be cleaned up a ton before I am done. I have always thought that even if the car is rough on the outside when you pop the hood it should be clean as a whistle.

    I always love the look on someones face when I pop the hood on one of my old beaters. It is pricless.
