HI. Great thread, suprised to see me calibratiing your tach at my table. I didn't even see you taking a picture. Is that the one from your car or did I sell you a complete new setup? You were staying at our motel and I looked over your car and thought here is a potential customer. But we left very early to open up at the swap meet. Remeber you have a 100% money back guarantee if you have any trouble. Thanks for the business Jerry Valentine INTERESTING STUFF catclock@msn.com

    Bummer about the alternator.
Good reason to keep the expendables like that
waranteed OTC stuff from chain parts stores.

Some of the best visits are the forced ones!
Looks like you guys are making the most of it.

Was wondering what tranny/rearend is in that?

  6. We got stuck in SLC, Rodwell had to go pick up a 36 roadster and told us we needed to come with. Turns out we went to Stanley Wanlass's house!

    DOH!!!

He has a Bugatti in his family room. This was a real treat, thanks Stanley.

  10. I want to give a huge shout out to steeljunkieII !!! James drove out to pick us up late last night, took us to a hotel, took good care of Josephine, picked us up and took us to Midvale Mining for breakfast, hauled us to AutoZone, and spent the rest of his day with us!

Thank you James, you are a great man! I enjoyed meeting you and look forward to meeting again!

This has been such a cool trip, not unlike Brian BASS' epic adventure a while back. You and Dad have kept the WORLD in stitches at times this past week. Today, I've found myself checkin' the "big" Google map every time ya post. Now, Rawlins, Wyoming...does this mean THIS epic HAMB adventure only has about four or five more hours to go? Say it isn't so. DD

  19. I miss out on all the fun. I would rather have run around with you guys today than go to work. Stopped by James place and got the entire story and decided I better look. I was there at the show but with so many people there it would have been impossible to bump into each other. Motor on!

    Wow guys,
Been following along, wishing mine was able to take such a journey, stopped for fuel in Evanston WY and, bam there is the 40! It was great to meet you both, very gracious. It was just what I needed this week. You have inspired me to start a build thread on the 39 I have in progress.
Thanks for the hot rod fix, I love to see them on the road!

  21. Great thread, thanks for sharing! I hope I can have a time like that with my Pops. Amazing!

Here's a few final shots from the last day (of this trip).

We were greeted with fireworks, such a fitting welcome home!! (you guys are great, I can't believe you did that for us!) WOW!!
