I'll probably get over it though. Don't have a car to enter but I should still be schleppin' around down there with my camera shooting anything that will hold still for a second or two. Several of the Poorboys from TN will be there, one of our favorite shows. Unfortunately we found out just a few weeks ago that my Mother has ovarian cancer and it's already in the late stages. She's not doing well at all so I'm gonna have to miss it this year. Someone will benefit though, when I called to cancel our room at the Clarion Monday the lady told me there were at least 25 people on the waiting list for rooms. Hope the weather cooperates and you all have a big time.
Gator, please know that you will be missed at the Rumble, but also know that we completely understand your situation and that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Also know that we are just a phone call away and should you or any of your boys ever need anything to let the Road Rockets know. We are literally only moments away from the show and everything is coming together, people are on there way as we type and some have already arrived, like our good friends from Long Island that just stopped by the house. For those of you that find yourself in a position such as Gator's and can't make it, we completely understand and for those of you that are in route or are leaving soon, have a safe trip and know that we will be waiting for you with bells on! 16 more hours of work for me. I may be out there both days. Kind of depends on weather. That and "the dillemma" - go see cool cars for inspiration, or stay in the garage working on the one that needs to be made cool.
