So my wife calls me at work....

  1. The car guy guardian angel must have been watching your Ford that day. He's gotten me out of a few close calls on motorcycles and cars. Glad it was just a close call.

He's already got a back seat, don't you know that's where all the serious proclamations to god are made ;)

You almost had a four door convertible. You got lucky. When I was a kid, my step-dad
had this custom ordered Pontiac Firebird. Looked like the Smokey and the Bandit, but
in white. I remember him loving that car, and had custom ordered the graphics on the
hood and such... A big wind storm came through, and a tree smashed the hell out of
the car, landing right on the T-tops.

  4. Glad no one was hurt and the car is ok. IMHO, the '63 Fords are the finest looking of that era.

    Glad your car is OK.
I have a friend who’s daughter was jogging in an upscale neighborhood when a tree suddenly snapped and fell on her, killing her. Calm, early morning.

Looks like you have a basis for a bigger garage now.

  9. Yep! Could have been a lot worse! Hopefully it's insured with a good company?

Yikes, talk about a close brush. Pun intended. It had to be a tense ride home to see this. Glad it came out as well as it did. ~sololobo~

Did you finish the job or is this where you're at with it today?
Checked your old threads about it and they have been cold for a couple years.

Ouch! That one's hard to see. Great to see you found another roof and are taking the time to fix it! Respect

Tman, It didn't take 8 years to find it, I saw it in my Niece's husbands garage and had to have it, interior, motor, body all pristine. 33,000 original miles and one owner....so every time I saw him I asked him if he was ready to sell, finally after 8 years he needed the cash and I got the car!

They don't build trees like they used to. They're so flimsy now....
