Due to some trouble on my buddies end (not my buddies fault) He was not able to bring my Mercury to me. Good thing I was planning a trip out there in a few weeks when I take leave at the end of July. Not having my car here is really stressing me out

  6. I'll add you to the HAMB Merc Club...you will be #405. Post a pic or two on that thread.

  7. Cool project! Good choice of motors.

  8. Was chopped and owned by Pepe in Salinas and flamed by Rod Powell. Don't have much more info than that. If anyone does, it would be Rod.
here are some pics from Rikster's collection. Pretty damn gorgeous.

Nice ride ! BTW: Not many 2Dr. Posts were built to begin with, and those that "lived" were turned into donors for HdTps & Converts.

Just that My Merc will finally be home on the 5th of Aug. I have brought my 62 T-bird seats (front and rear) and the center console out of storage and cleaned them up for the Merc. I have been planning and sketching out some other ideas for the merc as well. After I get my Continental kit end I am thinking about extending the quartes on the Merc 15 inches to make the lines flow better. Currently putting my parts list together to make the ordering process easier.

My Merc will be home soon but you can tell she has been sitting out side for the last few months. The 1st thing I will have to do once I get her home is stripper her down and seal the metal.

these are the front and rear seats and the console out of my old 62 T-bird that will be going in to the Mercury. These pics were taken the day I pulled the seats out of storage..there a little dirty but they should clean up nicely.

  26. Those seats look good. I picked up a nice wrap around rear seat for my 56 and thinking of keeping the front bench. I love a bench seat in my cars.

I do to..bench seats are great...nothing like having your woman sitting right next to you while your cruising around. Unfortuantly my car did not come with a seat and I aleady had the T-bird seats..Im on a tight budget so I decided to go ahead and use them.

You can mix and match the 55 and 56 bumper with no problems.
