    o'brien truckers,

    a hamber.

  7. F**K Hotrod and his lame *** shop, go right to the source, Dennis O'Brien of O'Brien Truckers on the East Coast, we've had 2 runs of plaques and 1 run of belt buckles done, you can't beat the service or the quality for the price. I usually order the plaques but when we did the belt buckles another guy in our club made the order, Dennis would NOT take his order until he talked to me and made sure it was on the up and up. He's on the HAMB, I believe he goes by 59BuickWagon

Here's all the info you'll need:

Do you know approx. what O'Brien truckers charges for plaques?

  9. I totally agree... Dennis and Sue are good people. I've had 2 runs of plaques through them so far and they turned out flawless. The first run was ordered through my buddy Dan, one of my moderators (since he's on the East Coast) and he handled all the dealings... the second run, I ordered up and they wouldn't budge until they talked to Dan who handled the first batch... ( and I'm the Club Pres! ) so they could make sure I wasn't just someone trying to pull a fast one. It wasn't a small order either (75 plaques) and they still made damn sure that they were going to the right people before taking the order.

That shows integrity in my book and I'll always recommend them to anybody. The top notch service was just icing on the cake.

  10. For the fifth time..............PM/ring/email him.............he's the man you need/want to talk to.

The Kontinentals, and our sister club The Fender Skirts, go to O'Brien Truckers for our plaques. Dennis is a HAMBer, and good people.

Ditto on Dennis being a good guy and he does quality work . This is a plaque he produced from a design I had on one of the Friday art shows last year.

  16. O'brien Truckers is the numero uno for plaques.

I'll get ours done soon when I get some time & cash saved up.

Obriens, once again. Dennis refined my poor atrwork that I sent him, and shipped them down under. Quality was great and the price was right.

Me too!! You can't beat O'Brian Truckers!! [IMG] He's the club plaque king of the country. He's got thousands of the old Speed Gems and Chicago Metalcraft patterns from the 50s and 60s and those two companies probably furnished 75% or more of all the plaques in the country back then. They have them cataloged and can cast new plaques from any of the old patterns. I had them cast me a plaque from the club I belonged to as a kid and it was only around $30 or so. A few years ago I made a pattern and had a sample plaque cast for a local club for around the same price. So many people wouldn't mess with those kind of orders! They're really good people!!

Here's my plaque (bought it from an ex-Karb King). I display it on my mantle with the bowling pin trophy I won at the Karb King's 7th Mobtown Greaseball. I'm not a member, but I know a few of them.

You are right, because the actual plate doesn't exist, just the sketch. Ha Ha Ha.
