All right guys. I'm on board for 7;00 at the 512-i5 Park ans Ride. This'll be my first caravan, really lookin' forward to it. Now I just gotta' Google map the Park n Ride...

 

Ill be leaving outta Auburn at around noon to meet up with flattop austin on i5

 

Marty, So you won't be able to make the 7:00 am meet time this Saturday

 

I cant make the caravan, but i will be down later in the day. Wearing a NW Hamb shirt.

Rob, are you guys heading straight down I-5 from there, or doing back roads?

 

Eric, we are going I-5, I don't know what Josh & Steve from Amocat are doing. I like the back way but I want to get there a little faster this year. I plan on wearing my "Eric" t-shirt I got at Hot-Rod-A-Rama to Billetproof. It's so fashionable ! lol ! If you want to drive down with us let me know !

 

Rob, the Amocat boys will not be attending this year. I may head down Friday afternoon, but if I don't, I'll meet you guys Saturday morning. That's a great fashion statement!!

 

I spoke to Josh, and he gave me the news. If you don't head down Friday, give me PM and I will give you my cell number.

 

To anyone who is heading down on Saturday morning and wants to run with the caravan all are welcome. Here is the game plan, I don't know how many people we have . We will meet at the 512 & I-5 Park-n-Ride at 7:00 am (pm me if you need my contact info) I don't want to leave anyone behind, if your running a little late. The Park-n-Ride is behind the McDonalds and Taco Time.

 

Be sure to get a few shots of the cars staging in the park and ride for me. That should be a sight.

Yes that is the McDonalds, You will to take the S. Tacoma Way exit( South ) Right at the exit light, The next light is S.Tacoma Way, you will got left(ie South) the McD's will be on the left. There is turn lane into the parking area with McD's & Tacoma Time. please pm if you need contact info.

Got the car loaded and all fueled up!
Put some 1/4 inch spacers on the back and everything is good.

Rob you got a tow strap in case someone else needs a tow?

I wanted to take my '40, but damn if it didn't get done in time..if you see a guy walking on I-5 looking dejected, it could be me (I carry no weapons, or cash).

 

Hmph, your meeting spot is a block from the hotel I'm staying at. I'll swing by the McD's an dbeg you guys to let me follow in my POS rental car. I'll keep my distance so as to not take away any of your cool points

I had a small hick up with my accelerator linkage coming loose. Everyone was great and stopped and came back(Thank you !) Slipped it back together and tightened the set screw back on.
