Just returned from L.A.R.S and had the best time ever of my last 4 trips. One of the highlights was meeting and spending time with Rudy (Fullerton Fabrications) on Wednesday. One of the most talented and friendly people I have ever met. Talked about '40 Merc Customs for most of the time but his real interest is Hot Rods and he has quite a resume' when it comes to early V8's. His eye for flow and detail is phenominal. His shop says a lot about him, very tidy, clean and neat, walls not plastered with signs, banners or graphics, just simple and organized (like mine should be).

    Thanks for the time Rudy,
    Mike

He's probably one of the most talented people out there. I have personally put him on my top builder list after seeing that MERC. But yeah his hot rod builds are do spot on it's not funny.

I am convinced he is possibly the most talented person to wrench on our kind of cars. The vast difference in all his work proves he is capable of anything. No one will ever build a better Mercury and the attention to detail on his hotrods is unlike anyone else.

There is probably no one left that doesnt put him on the top of the builder's list.

Best looking chopper since the original late 30's/early 40's chops. He gets it, he knows what looks right, period perfect.

Very Cool, back when I got my '40 Mercury in 2001, I spoke to him several times when he was working on his first and bought a sedan and parted it out, got some parts off that car. Very down to earth person and sincere. Been meaning to stop by his new shop. No ego either and gives you the time and day.

Met him at the L.A. Roadster show a few years ago. when he had the '29 on Deuce rails with the flathead, T-5. A prince of a guy and willing to share all he knows and feels. Would cast myself a****st his lot anytime.
