I see lots of build threads of folks finding old rust buckets and bringing them back to life.

How many of you though, built your traditional rod from someones old non-traditional rod? How many of you got your hands on someones mono-chromatic 80's rod or half assed pro-streeter and brought her back to light side of the force?

    I wanna see.

My Essex is a late 70's street rod that a childhood friend of mine built with his dad. I'm trying to take it back to an early 60's look.
