Now that will make a fine ride. One of my favorites cars is a 46-48 ford. Convert is the top of the heap.. good thing the weather is turning.. with no top... I think its grease lightening..

Super score!! But the real deal is all of our family that made it all come together, Ryno is a true God!!, his tireless efforts on the tornado relief is so incredible, and now tons of pix, video, rollers to move it and then one of my favorite sweeties Ms. Marcy steps in with super helpers and bing the car is in your driveway. I hope everyone realizes what a feat this is, and it is "PURE H.A.M.B. POWER", years ago without this source this would not have happened. Salute to our H.A.M.B. heros!! ~sololobo~

C'mon, you don't recognize the legendary Mayor McCheese, towering inferno, haystack, teapot, inside-out Holley 4bbl?? Sheesh.

Very, very cool car. I've thought postwar Ford ragtops were bitchen ever since I was a little kid and first saw Back to the Future. I always figured Biff's had a Cadillac V8.

    UPDATE:

I got it running pretty good, running it off a boat tank with fresh gas. It still smokes pretty well, so I might yank it out to go through it. Thank goodness Y blocks are WAAAAAY cheaper then flatheads ;)

Anyone have a set of skirts for this ol pig?

Awesome to hear chris!!!! You might have to bolt on all that y block speed stuff that your stored away while your at it and go back to a built flatty for the '34 roadster. Glad to hear you got it running. It's going to be pretty rad dude.

I am actually leaning that direction now!

Took Jamie for a spin around the block in it last night. It's running better and better and drives very well. Smoking a lot less, too. I wish Bob Drake was not back ordered 2-3 months on n new gas tank, I wanna get this sucker on the road!!!

What a nice score. I looked at 3 or 4 several years back, they were all in the 18,000 range, none of them were even close to the condition of yours, let alone drivable.

The guy with the yellow one said he was offered 18k for it 3 years ago...but it wasn't worth that now. The price on these (like most everything else) has come down quite a bit!

Nice find. The mid forties Ford/Mercury convertibles were a classic to me. I had a '41 Mercury with a Carson top. Here is what a lot of hard work and imagination could get you. This beauty is worth a lot of money not to mention beautiful too.

Went to the Spokane swap meet and SCORED a ton of shit. People were selling me stuff by the box full. I would dig through a box of 46-48 stuff and guys would say "just take the whole box for 20.00" or whatever. Got a lot of stuff I needed. I got a SUPER bitchin bumper with wing tips and grill guard from tinbender, rebuilt steering box/column, tons of trim and lenses I needed, a nice deck lid for 40.00, grill pieces, dash trim, ect. Overall a very good weekend for the ol 48 :D
