Gave up on the FRESNO P.D. 4 times no police report. Got a insodent report number last time. I told my neighbors call me frist which they did my son and a buddy took off all from diffrent areas in the city and all of us got there with in 10 mintues P.D. got the call from the neighbor right after me that there was a robery in progress. The P.D. took 45 minutes to respond after i got there. I told them what happend the gave a number and left. We just missed him he hopped the fence and left pit bull in back yard. We made friends and turned him loose and flowed him to a low lifes house. I went up to the house set in this mans lawn chair and told him how the cow ate the cabage funny thing know more problems so far. BUT like i said if you bought something from this low life keep it. But help me stop him before he gets you or a friend. jim 559-289-9724

The more we get on him the harder it will be for him to weasel ot of this. I beleve our plea bargen justice system is broke. I think we need to help it along from time to time. so, hopefully you will get this guy charged with theft, etc. imagine you have plenty of security at house? can get inexpensive security cameras/monitor/ recording capability and loud motion detectors at Harbor Freight. Motion lights good too. Just heard on TV News from Sacramento that Police no longer go out to take burglary reports unless burglary is going on at time of call !!

Sometimes you just got to do what we all know is the right thing to do. In this wussified p c correct world we live in every one is scared to do what common sense tells us to do.Thats why s***bags like that guy continue to wreak havoc.I hope this douche bag gets whats coming to him! Sic em!

OLDSKOOLJC.... Some unsolicted advice. As much as laying hands on this dirtball would satisfy you on many levels, my advice as a retired cop, don't start an altercation or put him in a spot where he has to defend himself. If he threatens you or otherwise puts you in a position to defend yourself, then teach the mf a lesson. Bring some friends to act as witnesses.

Unless the guy can be put in your garage by eyewitnesses or physical evidence, no burglary charges can be brought..

Possessing your property if properly id'ed, IE: serial numbers, etc. can only be prosecuted if the court can prove he KNEW it was stolen property. Hard to prove, without a colarborating witnesses.

I say this only to protect you from doing something that would get you in trouble. I'm older than you, so please take this as advice as coming from "your older" brother.

I also agree it is downright wrong for the cops to discount so called property crimes, the reality is most departments are short staffed and not hiring. Personal crimes and in-progress stuff usually takes up much of an officers day. The cops respond to what they are dispatched to. With that said, a trip to the department would result in a "counter report" which would list the stolen items, suspect names you provide, and it becomes a "real" police report to fall back on for insurance purposes or to recover your property.

If that crack head has broken into your shop 4 times in the last 3 months, he'll likely be back to the hen house. I like the idea of video cameras hooked up to a 24 hr. hard drive.
Bait him with a text request asking for a couple of valuable items that are in your shop that you know he has seen but not stolen. Tell him you'll pay him $500 for a __________...
You know where he works/who he is. All you need is a tape of him walking out of your shop with an item. Then the cops can charge him with breaking and entering, grand theft, etc.
Once he's in jail, if you still feel shorted, you can torch his car, LOL.

I had my center caps swiped from my wifes van the other day. Went on Craigslist and there were dozens of ads with those. Called one and the dude wound up living right up my street so I said "yeah, i'll take 'em".....drove there in the van and you should have seen the look on the **** heads face. He must have had a "come to Jesus" moment cause I got those caps for free. What a nice kid!
