Or you could check imdb.com http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1216475/ Or just Google "Cars 2 release date"
i think it's cool that one of the main characters is an old rusty bucktoothed chevy truck with an arkansas accent ;-)
What!?? There making another one?? Cool, man I have to get out from under this rock more often!! Doc.
Just watched the original last Friday. Life is a highway is my theme song, can't wait for spring to come a get on a road trip.
The one built for movie promo in 1.1 was a 71 Chev, built by Eddie Paul. Number two has just been released here, and the reviews have said the graphics are great, but the plot sucks. I guess the reviewers arnt car people?
Essex Ca even has a drinking fountain for the cars put in by the Southern California Auto Association. Real route 66 history! See: http://www.cart66pf.org/Map/66mojave2.htm
It's an 1957 International A130 chassis, Holmes 400 wrecker dated June 57 built by Lambert in Los Angeles in July 1957. See: http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/36589379@N08/5821674486/sizes/m/
just took my kids to see the movie. its ok i like the first one better. and no they act like doc hudson is dead sort of speak....jones
I saw the AMC Pacers that were used in Cars 2 at a car show in Santa Rosa. They belong to the members of the Nor Cal AMCs club.
Paul Newman, who voiced Doc Hudson, died in September 2008 from cancer, so i guess maybe thats why Doc wasnt in it.
We took my 4 yr old grandson to see it this past weekend. He stayed glued to his seat the entire time. Of course, he loves cars, speeding cars, crashing cars, monster cars, noisy cars, pretty cars, ugly cars..... Plot was ok....graphics were terrific as before. Way too many details to pick up visually the first time around. You'll want to see it again to catch more. It's non-stop action. Mater is definitely the star. The opening scene action is great. I loved seeing the old AMC oddball cars (no Javelins, AMX's, or Hurst Ramblers). Still wonder why they didn't fit in a Matador or two....
My 4-1/2 year old son is all into Lightning McQueen, so we'll be going to see it next week during summer vaction. Somehow I doubt he will be criticizing the plot too much. And to answer the OP's question: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263747&highlight=pixar His hamb name is Jive-Bomber and his real name is Jay. Super nice guy.
I saw it. It was okay except for the political liberal spin about the evil oil companies.. Funny, you don't see them complain about their cut from big oil... Sorry to get political but I hate to see that stuff thrown into a movie.. Great graphics but I thought the story line was too much for my 3 yr old... I would see it again with him and try not to pay attention to the spin..
