I am from Nor Cal and have arived at my daughters summer place in Fontana, WI. I will be here for a month and would like to hook up with a fellow rodder(s) and get a "fix" to avoid withdrawals. I have seen some cruise night and shows on the internet in Wisconsin, I'm hoping someone will take pity on a broken down hot rodder and let me tag along? My wife supports my habit, but is not into hanging around at car events, she says it's boring???? Show her a mall close by, and it all changes.......She has dibs on our car, (grandkids you see). My cell is 707 685 5394....Gary Thanks
If you are up for a few hours in the car Back to the 50's is in St Paul MN this weeknd 10,000 plus cars to look at.
I am kinda far from you sorry but anytime you want to shoot up here to sheboygan feel free to come and hang out. There are tons of HAMBers in WI
If you will be here until July 7th through the 10th You need to go see the Iola Car Show about 3-4 hours north of Fontana. Huge show with tons of stuff for every taste. http://www.iolaoldcarshow.com/ Also check out Gus's in East Troy WI for cruise nights http://www.gussdrivein.com/index.php Welcome to our state and hope you enjoy. Don't forget the mandatory blood donation courtesy of our state bird the mosquito!!!
little over an hour north of you, but Gus in Sat nights brings a decent variety of cars. If you can make the break from family, Iola swap is hugh and well worth the drive....actually better if you plan 2 days for that. In the Milwaukee area there's a few nights with local car shows...usually nothing exciting, lots of tri-fives and muscle cars. If you plan on making a trip towards milwaukee, PM me...
Man, I'm in edgerton(sp) with my gf til Monday or Tuesday. Thinking about treking over to east Troy or seeing what Bob has in Jefferson. Is there anything going on in Madison area on sat or sun? I'm in need of a car show so I can get out of going to her friends shindig!!!
not much of a "car guy lifestyle" left in Madison. So sad. perhaps if you had a bike... might see you at Gus's in East Troy tonight. Look for a 68 Buick GS400 in light blue
