Here is an update on progress. I blasted the ash tray. I brazed some cracks on the waterfall. I cleaned the inside of the passenger quarter. I welded up the holes in the passenger quarter panel.

No busting spot welds on floor of mustang, slipped and smashed it on torque box. See how much you pay attention, it was like that at the Roadster Run already

Jamie gave me the idea to make the glove box the same shape as the instrument cluster so the cutting began. I just finished it up today I think it looks great.

Here are the problem areas on the passenger side. I cut the sheet metal off of the cowl and quarter. I then started patching the subrail behind the door. I got the rocker tacked in. Now I have to fix the bottom of the A and B pillars

I fixed the bottom of the passenger side B pillar tonight. It was almost completely rusted off. Took some time but I got it.

Gene gives me Fridays off to work on my car or go back to ND. I also make time by staying nights and working on it.

between last night and tonight I got the A pillar repaired. I got the top and bottom hinges bolted to the body. I know the one hinge is backwards in the pic, dont worry I fixed it. I put the door on just to see how bad things are. Right now the bottom hinge isnt attached to the door.

Looks really great, the door even looks like it fits pretty good.

  26. The car is really coming along nicely. How much more "repair" work do you have to do on the body??

I have to repair the A and B pillars on the drivers side. Cowl and quarter patches on both sides. major door repairs. Some work on the firewall. Other than that thats about it

  29. I know you'll do a great job on those repairs.

You really are doing a great job!
    I can't wait to find a 35 3 window.
I will own one some day.

Keep up the good work and thanks for posting the updates.
