I missed last years show, but this year's more than made up for it! Seemed to be more cars and lots of new stuff to check out, at least compared to the 2009 show. Great weather Saturday. If you couldn't be there, enjoy the pics. Even if you WERE there, go ahead and enjoy them!

Between having no rear side windows and being lowered so much, it looked like it had about a foot and a half added to the wheelbase!

Cool pics, thanks. I couldn't make it this year so I've been checking out all the pictures I can. This one got the 'Poorboy's pick' award, a homebuilt trophy.
Just one last bump for anyone who didn't check in here over the weekend. Here's my last batch of pictures, and a little extra "surprise" that I didn't even notice until I'd gone thru my shots like maybe three or four times. I love finding an "Easter Egg" like this in a picture. This was a really beautifully detailed, well thought out Ford Y block, if I'm not mistaken. As mentioned earlier this won the "Poorboys Pick" award, and rightfully so. But check out the little extra added detail on the head of the Thunderbird design. Just three small engraved marks and it reminds me of a certain "friendly" ghost. Just further proof that you can't see everything at this show in the course of one afternoon, even the stuff that you stopped and looked at long enough to take a couple pictures of it!
Well that's going to have to hold you for another year. I'm already looking forward to the 2012 Rumble, though I don't know how they'll top this year's show. But the Road Rockets will try to, and that's good enough for me. A big THANX! to all involved, you always make it worth the trip!
Well this is about all I have to add for this years Rumble. Just uploaded a couple videos that I basically threw together and let the software do the editing. Hard to beat fast and cheap!
