Ok, so what I originally thought was a 1951 ford f1 (according to the Vin I thought) is now becoming in my mind a 1952 ford f1 5 star deluxe cab. Due to it having very accessory everyone says was part of the 5 star option. Anybody know the value of such truck? In unrestored/ restorable condition? Or restored condition? And would I be making a mistake by modifying/ hot rodding this particular specimen? Thanks fellas, the only piece that is not complete for the trim pkg is the hood spear trim, and I've already done some metal work to cancer spots in the fenders
so,no pics to post? have you done a search on this truck? as you should know-only worth what someone will pay for it.
I couldn't tell you the value, never paid more than $1000.00 bucks for one. My 50 is bone stock right now and my 51 is cut up, just how I like em. Fun trucks and they beg to be customized like there car brother-en. Here is a pick of my 51.
I have a '52 F1 that I redid as a restomod. That 5 star cab is only going to be important to someone wanting a pure restoration.
Yeah I suppose it's only worth what someone would pay for it... I can't live with myself doing full on restos so it will be modded!!! Considering it's my truck and all I guess I'll do what I wish... No pics up yet I'm using my iPhone as I am away from home
In my experience, most people don't understand, or care, what a 5 star cab means. Personally, I like the chrome windshield molding on mine, looks much better that a plain old gasket.

Sounds cool, keep us updated. I love that body style, it's my favorite. I know what you mean about modding it, I'm the same way.
hey just for the sake of askin what 5 things ( im ***uming there are 5 ) make a 51 ford cab a 5 star cab ? 8 flat said the chrome trim around the windshield is that 1 what would be the other 4 ?
